Tilt-A-Rack ® Mobility Scooter Carrier Features

Our Tilt-A-Rack ® Scooter Carrier is easy to install and use. Click here to see the Assembly instructions. You can assemble it in just a few minutes! There are no electronic components that might fail. Operates by a natural force—gravity! Those who can operate an electric lift and drive can also use this carrier with ease. Gravity and balance work for you!

The tilt feature eliminates the need for ramps. With the flip of a latch, the rack tilts easily toward the passenger side. It conveniently reaches the curb for parallel parking.

The deck extender pulls out from beneath the scooter, reducing the angle of incline. This feature is especially helpful when a handicap curb is not available.

Made of durable Aluminum and securely attached with hinges to level the uneven area between the deck extender and the main deck and at the same time lock the deck extender in the out position.

And don't forget... because of our unique design, the main deck area can also be used as a cargo area to carry luggage, boxes, etc. Please do not exceed the unit's load rating.

SPECIAL SAFETY FEATURES

The tilt feature eliminates the need for ramps. With the pull of a handle, the rack tilts easily toward the passenger side.

The deck extender pulls out from underneath the carrier reduces the angle of incline. It also reaches the curb for loading and unloading. This feature is especially helpful when a handicap curb ramp is not available.

All of the Tilt-A-Rack ® models feature a hinging device located just behind the hitch, which has two positions. The first position keeps the rack locked in the horizontal position. The second position allows the empty rack to be folded into a vertical position for storage. Optional adjustable-height hitch bar (class II & III) are also available for low and smaller vehicles which allow you to raise and lower the unit up to 4".
